Over a month ago, I stepped out of the world I knew into a world barely familiar to me. The only difference was that I was going to that world under the direction of My Master. Had I given this a lot of thought? Yes and No. I prepared financially, spiritually (I knew this was a desire from God) emotionally---maybe not so much. I only knew I was going to the Home of God's Love--I didn't know what was in store for me.

Now after a month of being here, I must say it hasn't been easy. It hasn't been hard either. Definitely I have felt the hand of God upon me as He stretches me one way and then another. One day, I felt myself snap from the stretch. The Lord was right there beside me, calming me, letting me know that it was o.k. He left me with that "peace beyond all understanding".

That day I walked to our Park down the street. In my quietness with God and gazing out at the lake, it reminded me of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. A breeze was blowing across the lake rippling the water. In Luke 8, we read that the disciples, while on the Sea of Galilee, were afraid of the storm and woke the Master. He got up and rebuked the wind and the waves and it became calm. To this I identified with my own situation and was calmed once again with the inner peace that only comes from the Lord's hand.

  1. HI Diana, I'm sorry I didn't connect with you after your last update. I tried but couldn't get it to go through. Hopefully this time it will.... It sounds like God is blessing you soooo much! The babies are beautiful!!! I know what you mean, as you try to figure out what they might be thinking. I am so happy you are speaking God's word to them and telling them about Jesus and His love for them every day. I'm glad you have the time to get away and meditate on God's love and direction for you. The park sounds beautiful and you have the memories from your past to give you extra rest.

Rick and I are on vacation right now. We are seeing God's beauty here as well. We have had beautiful sunny days, have seen elk, buffalo, moose, coyote and deer. Today we have a "wintery mix". We are going to go to Yellowstone tomorrow. Will be home soon.

Jenny and Mike and the kids are doing well. Asher and Malachi love school. Titus is growing, and Selah is getting extra attention by mom.

Jenny did ask me the other day about how a girl in her youth group can contact Home of God's Love to do a summer internship there. I see you have a couple of girls there now. Would you please let Jenny know of any information you have so the student can make plans, or change focus?

I look forward to sharing with you soon. Love you my friend!!!
