A NEW SEASON OF LIFE

As I looked out my window this morning, I am reminded that we are in a new season. This season is transitioning us from summer to winter. The fall colors bursting forth from the trees are a wonder in itself. A definite season of it's own.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says "There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven".
Verse 11 reminds us "God has made everything beautiful for it's own time".

I reflected on this thought and gave thanks to God for this season and also for the changes of seasons in our own life. Life is special; given to us by our Creator, God. Psalm 139:13-18 says,

"For you formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.

In this season of life, open your heart to God's heart and give thanks for such a time as this.
